IFWT_Kyrie Coach K

NBA TV aired a live broadcast of Team USA’s basketball practice as they prepared for the Rio Olympics.  Legendary coach Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski was mic’d up, so what could possibly go wrong? Well practices can sometimes get a little testy and Coach K dropped a F-bomb on live TV.

Kyrie Irving was reportedly telling a joke and interrupted Coach K while he was trying to instruct the other players.  Krzyzewski responded telling Irving “F–k you.”  It’s unclear what Irving said to get that reaction but the tiff was obviously nothing serious as Kyrie laughed at his coach.

The two also aren’t strangers.  Irving spent his freshman year with the Duke Blue Devils where Coach K is also the head coach.  Irving only played in 11 games with Duke before missing the remainder of the season with a toe injury.  The two however met up again in 2012 when Irving made the USA select team, which plays in scrimmages and helps Team USA train for the Olympics, and 2014 in the FIBA World Cup (won).

Kyrie is now on the main team and hoping to add an Olympic gold medal to the NBA championship he just won with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
