The Brooklyn bred MC tells the NY Post that ever since he reposted a photo of The POTUS’ daughter rockin his brand’s shirt back in January 2015, strange things have been happening like his phones being tapped and a tree right in front of his house being removed:
“It had been there for years. But when that shit with Malia went down, the tree was gone. The timing was too suspicious. I guess they [had] to get clearer pictures.”
But he ain’t sweatin it, he’s only doing “positive things” with his platform as an artist. Joey also said he would want to thank Malia in person for the promotion, but believes it would be awkward:
“I’d love to thank Malia in person. It’ll be a weird encounter, because the Secret Service guys are gonna be there, and they’re gonna be tapping the whole conversation. But nonetheless, I’m down.”
