Singer Brandy claims she feels like a slave to her record label. She has since filed a lawsuit to be released. Brandy says she signed with the label in 2011. She was promised hundreds of thousands of dollars in production costs to make albums and she states that didn’t happen after her first album.
Brandy says the label has put her in jeopardy due to the fact that she hasn’t been able to put out new music. Brandy’s lawsuit says the label has even tried to pressure her to stray away from concerts and Broadway shows. Brandy’s lawyer says,
“Brandy Norwood’s story is ‘Kesha Redux, but without the sex.”
Brandy is suing for all the money they owe her and also wants out of the contract.
