Pokemon Go has become an obsession to some players. Many people suspend every ounce of common sense that that have just for the game and find their selves in sticky situations. There are stories of people falling off cliffs, some players have been shot and others are even being lured into traps because they want to “catch em all.” This past week, New Hampshire police department decided to take advantage of the Pokemon Go game and jokingly tried to bait wanted criminals with the game.

The Manchester Police Department in NH went to Facebook to announce that a Charizard (a Pokemon) had been identified at the headquarters booking area. The Facebook post read:
“With the Charizard being such a rare character, we are only inviting a specific number of people. If your name appears on the following list you are one of the lucky ones.”
It then provided a link to the list of names, which just so happened to be the department’s “Wanted Persons” page.
Although this is a joke do you think anyone would be stupid enough and fall for it? Sgt. Eric Knight said that the post hasn’t lead to any arrests yet; however, it’s been a hit among the department’s followers, who have shared the announcement over 10,000 times and given it over 14,000 likes.
Is Pokemon Go really that serious? Lol! Comment below and let is know what you think.
