Chairman of the New Black Panther Party, Hashim Nzinga, states if it is legal to do so members of the organization will come armed and ready to protest.
Nzinga says,
If it is an open state to carry, we will exercise our second amendment rights because there are other groups threatening to be there that are threatening to do harm to us. If that state allows us to bear arms, the Panthers and the others who can legally bear arms will bear arms.
Well I guess things worked in Nzinga’s favor. Officials have stated that protestors will legally be able to bear arms at the convention which takes place in Cleveland July 18 through 21.
