This week, Drake officially bested Eminem to hold the record for third-longest consecutive number one hip-hop album. Views reached its ninth week at the top with 111k units sold, beating out Em’s record of 8 weeks with The Marshall Mathers LP. Ahead of Drake now are only Vanilla Ice’s To the Extreme (16 weeks in 1990 and 1991) and MC Hammer’s Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em (21 weeks in 1990.)
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like he’ll be able to beat Ice or Hammer, as he’s likely about to be dethroned…

According to early sales projections, Blink-182’s comeback album California is projected to sell 140-145k. Unless Views gets a big push this week, Drake will likely fall into the number two spot. We’ll find out on Sunday!
