Yesterday after Kevin Durant announced his major decision to join the Golden State Warriors, several players around the league expressed their thoughts about it on Twitter. Kyrie Irving wasn’t one of them but he did have a couple words later on.
TMZ Sports caught up with Irving outside of Nobu in Malibu where there was a huge 4th of July party. Unfortunately even the NBA champ couldn’t get in. By the team he and his crew arrived, the fire marshall was already there to shut it down due to crowd capacity. But he was asked about Durant heading to the Warriors as he was leaving and said “that’s awesome for them.”
Sidenote: they also asked about his “all Becky party” to which he replied “there’s no such thing.”
