Mobb Deep’s own Havoc dropped a few gems while on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s podcast. We now know that Prince was actually working on a song with not Mobb Deep and also Snoop Dogg. The track was going to be called “Thou Shall Not Kill.” Havoc speaks on how surprised he was to have Prince in the same room as him.
Havoc says,
“I was making the beat, and then I was like ‘Holy shit, Prince.’ Then, I was like ‘Is there anything I need to do to the beat?’ He was like ‘Hold on’ and then he got on the keyboard and just started…He was that cool,”
Once the beat was done, Snoop rapped over the beat. Havoc then says,
“Prince walked out and didn’t even say bye.”
