Following the deadly alligator attack on a two-year-old earlier this month, Disney World is quietly removing all alligator imagery from its theme park.

According to the NY Post, they’ve already implemented the following:
-Louis, the trumpet-playing gator from “The Princess and the Frog,” is no longer part of the Friendship Faire Castle show.
-Peter Pan’s Tic Toc Croc (who chases Captain Hook) has been removed from the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom.
-The Jungle Cruise boat ride no longer jokes to parents to “watch your children, or the crocodiles will.”
Do you think this is a good step, or was it unnecessary and changes classic Disney tales?
