The main story in free agency is Kevin Durant, and although the Golden State Warriors are very interested in him, they also have their eyes set on Dirk Nowitzki.

The Golden State Warriors plan to pursue Dirk Nowitzki in free agency, reports Tim Kawakami of Mercury News.
“We will be very aggressive,” one Warriors executive told Kawakami late Sunday night. “Very, very aggressive.”
Despite their plan to persuade Nowitzki to leave Dallas, Kawakami reports the Warriors’ first priority is to sign free agent Kevin Durant.
Nowitzki has a player option on his contract with the Mavericks for the 2016–17 season that would pay him $8.7 million, but he is expected to opt out of it to negotiate a new contract.
Dirk Nowitzki has played his entire 18-year career with the Dallas Mavericks and helped them win one championship in 2011. At 38-years old the major question will be, does he want to make a run at another title with the Warriors, or just finish his career out in Dallas?
