All eyes have been on LeBron James since he led the Cleveland Cavaliers on a miraculous run to come back from 3-1 and beat the Golden State Warriors and win the NBA championship. In doing so, a long ESPN profile on the King, revealed some very interesting information about his heir.
According to an in-depth article on LeBron by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin and Brian Windhorst, his older son LeBron James Jr. already has scholarship offers from Kentucky and Duke at just 11-years old.
“He raised both arms, just as he did when he pinned Iguodala’s would-be layup against the glass with his right arm, and his son, 11-year-old LeBron Jr., did the same (making it no wonder why he already has standing scholarship offers from both Duke and Kentucky, according to a source).”
LeBron himself previously mentioned that his son already had scholarship offers and berated the practice of giving them to such young children. At the time, many assumed it was from Ohio State, the school James is a a fan of; and while they’re a great school too, to already get offers from college ball giants like Kentucky and Duke is huge.
His younger son Bryce Maximus is only 9-years old but he’s an amazing player as well and will probably receive offers too.
