Jennifer Hudson has been through a lot since her rise to stardom. She’s been very strong. However, during a street naming ceremony in honor of her late nephew, she wears he heart on her sleeve.

If you recall ,back in 2008, Jennifer Hudson experienced a terrible tragedy. Her mother, brother and nephew were murdered by her brother in law. That was the crazy part. He was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences. Eight years later, Jennifer Hudson’s nephew, Julian D. King was honored with his own street named after him. That’s awesome. During the ceremony, Jennifer began to cry,as she is still emotional about her family loss. Julian was only seven years old but his legacy will continue. View the video below.
