Despite being behind bars and fighting multiple charges, Troy Ave has set up an an athletic scholarship at the high school that he attended along with his late friend and bodyguard, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter.

The New Utrecht High School scholarship will provide $2,000 a year to an exceptional individual for five years, and according to Ave’s lawyer, the first student will be presented with a scholarship in McPhatter’s name today.
