Her critic was David Bowie’s former producer, Tony Viscoti, who claims that a good 90% of music nowadays contains a lot of manipulation of people voices, so you never know if anything is real. Where he got Adele tight was when he said:

“You turn the radio on and it’s fluff, you are listening to 90 percent computerized voices. We know Adele has a great voice, but it’s even questionable if that is actually her voice or how much has been manipulated.”
