Corruption and violence has never been more relevant in the world. And nowhere else is more of an example of this than in the Philippines.

It all started when the president took power not too long ago. President Rodrigo Duterte promised that he wanted to start “a bloody war” with the criminals.
He locked up the drug lords. Those very same drug lords, in jail mind you, put the price on his head at 10 million pesos ($216,000), and then jacked up the price to 50 million pesos ($1,083,845).
Was Duterte scared? Not even the slightest. In fact, he himself put up his own bounty on a drug lord. He offered a reward of 5 million pesos ($108,000),
“if he is dead. If he is alive, only 4.999 million.”
This isn’t even close to the craziest thing he’s said though. He’s said many offensive and jaw-dropping things, giving him the title of the “Trump of the East” lol Check these out:
“If they [criminals] can’t be talked into changing, let’s kill them.”
“If they are there in your neighborhood, feel free to call us, the police or do it yourself if you have the gun. You have my support.”
“If he fights and fights to the death, you can kill him.”
“If you are involved in drugs, I will kill you. You son of a whore, I will really kill you.”
Yeah… He’s walin. There’s far worse things he’s said than these quotes though, trust me
