Lil Yachty got a chance to sit down a talk with Hot97’s ‘Ebro in the Morning’ and I must say this interview is definitely a must see. Yachty speaks on his career, how he doesn’t consider himself a rapper, and also his love for vintage clothing, specifically Nautica.
A lot of people know but don’t really KNOW about Yachty. The ‘One Night’ artist says he does not consider himself a rapper. In fact, he says he doesnt know what he is. He says ‘I’m just here.’
No. I don’t know. I would say artist, but then, like, I don’t know. I’m just here. … I’m not a rock star. You would think I’m a rock star by my shows, but I don’t want [to be known] that way.”
He says he does not even feel like he has fans in his hometown of Atlanta. Yachty says the love he gets in Atlanta is not the same as the love he gets outside of the A.
Yachty says he does not like to freestyle because he does not want to flop. Which is understandable in this generation. Don’t want to water down too soon!
