We all know ‘Soul Plane’ is one of the most hilarious movies of all times. Kevin Hart took the time out to speak on how much the movie has changed his life for the better.
Hart took to Instagram to say,
It’s crazy how time flys….In 2004 “Soul Pane” was released theatrically on Memorial Day Weekend, I was 24yrs old & I thought that this movie was going to change my life. My brother/Friend @jessyterrero along with MGM studios took a chance on a no name actor as the lead of this film & I am & will be forever grateful. Soul Plane bombed in the theaters but it had crazy success on the streets. It holds the record for the most bootlegged movie of all time….Because of the success that it had on the streets I was able to start doing comedy clubs & in those comedy clubs is where I started to build a strong following which eventually led me to where I am today. The point of this story is that sometimes things don’t happen as planned….I was put in a position where I was looked at as a failure & as I guy who had a opportunity that came & went. I didn’t like that so I took matters into my own hands & created another path!!!!
