The teen with the genius idea thought it would be funny to wear a burqa, a holy garment worn by Muslim women, and hold up a sign saying:
“I know I always wait until the last second but prom would be the bomb with you.”
…Hilarious. Check out the controversial photo in the gallery. Not everyone found it funny though. They’ve received a ton of criticism since then. Muslim students are even trying to get them banned from prom. And several people responded to their ignorant twitter post, which has been deleted now.
