Tip has just been taken off the card as the entertainment for the evening, after he was set to perform in South Florida for graduates from multiple high schools. For June 11, he was scheduled to perform for the h.s grads and now the party organizers are asking for their money back, all $55K.
The contract for the performance was signed and the money sent to retain him, but than the whole NYC shooting went down and he’s out of 50 grand. He wasn’t even involved with the shooting at all, didn’t hit the stage yet, but his name was attached to the performance. Crazy because of someone else’s misfortunes.
Promoters issued a legal notice saying because of the shooting, “the quality of the Talents services is not satisfactory to our Client,” marketing the event “as a safe environment for the students.”
Tip is yet to respond.
