The annual New York Police and Fire Departments’ Fun City Bowl, a charity event took place at MCU Park at Coney Island yesterday. Instead of a great day with the family, spectators got to see some serious combat ending with blood and a tsunami of four letter words.
Something about that testosterone I tell ya. No word on the specific charities that this bowl was supporting, but whomever they are, I am certain that they would not want to be associated with this mess. I get that emotions run high during a game, and football of course is a serious battle, but come on NY’s Bravest and Finest…this is becoming a habit.
It appears that something similar happened back in 2014 with a NYPD vs FDNY hockey game where the game had to be stopped for nearly a half hour to sort out the mess. SMH. Oh the humanity.
