Rihanna and Ciara had quite the Twitter spat in 2011, when the two went at it over Ciara’s comment on E!’s Fashion Police. A back and forth ensued on the social network after CiCi mentioned on the show that Rih hadn’t been too nice to her the last time they’d seen each other, but they later made amends – though subtle shade still has made its way to social media every now and then. (You know Rih is the Shade Queen!)

Last night, Ciara hosted the Billboard Awards alongside Ludacris, and Rihanna was one of the featured performers. MTV’s music account, @MTVMusic, was live tweeting the show, and decided to take a trip down memory lane by writing:
“Luda, you know Ciara won’t say Rihanna’s name”
They then RT’d one of Rih’s shady tweets to CiCi from their 2011 beef, and added, “Never forget.” This didn’t sit very well with Ciara at all, who then proceeded to drag them for filth. The tweets have since been deleted. No apology or statement has been issued yet, however.
