The Oklahoma City Thunder stunningly blew out the Golden State Warriors 133-105 in game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. Despite all that, Draymond Green’s kick on Steven Adams is currently the talk of the series. It was the second time Green hit Adams in the groin but Draymond maintains that it was unintentional. Following the game, Russell Westbrook was vocal, saying it looked like it was done on purpose. Green fired back today during the Warriors media availability. “I think it’s intentional,” Westbrook said. “That’s two times in the last two games. You can’t keep kicking someone in their private areas”
“Russell Westbrook kicked me at the end of the half. He just didn’t happen to catch me (where he caught Adams),” said Green, per ESPN’s Ethan Sherwood Strauss. Green added, “Russell (Westbrook) said I did it on purpose but he’s a part of the superstar group that started all this acting in the NBA. I didn’t. So, I sold the call.”
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Green’s kick was incidental contact and that Westbrook kicks his foot out on every three.
