More updates have been released on the details of the Death of music icon Prince. It is now being reported that Paramedics at the scene of Prince’s death, disclosed to police that the singer may have been dead for at least six hours before his body was discovered. A day before his death Prince received intravenous fluids. Many thought this was related to his being sick, his publicist notified the public days prior to his death that the musician had the Flu.
More and more details are being released on the late icons death, most specifically the days leading up to it. Now details are emerging that Prince may have been dead for up to six hours before his body was discovered. While toxicology results are pending it is now widely known that Prince was being treated for withdrawal symptoms of Opiod addiction. After being treated for an overdose on April 15th prince allegedly became very agitated. Because of this one his staff placed a cal to New York the day before the musicians death. The call was placed in hope of receiving key advice from a person who recently worked with the musician. Later more efforts were made as staff members of Prince also placed a call to Los Angeles. Eventually a call was made to Dr. Howard Kornfeld, a physician renowned for helping people with addiction, specifically prescription pain killers.
Bill Mauzy, the attorney for Kornfeld said in earlier interviews that the doctor could not make it to Prince immediately. Kornfeld decided to send his son in his place, his son Andrew works with Dr. Kornfeld at his clinic. Court records show that Andrew arrived at Paisly Park the morning of Prince’s Death. Andrew arrived with Prince’s assistant and Kirk Johnson, Prince’s longtime friend and drummer. The two are the ones who discovered Prince’s body. Andrew placed the call to 911 at 9:43am where he stated that the musician appeared dead, transcripts show.
