From the looks of it, Colorado is truly putting their Marijuana to good use. The first tax-funded weed scholarship program, which was put together by Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation (PHEF) is going to soon announce it’s scholarship program soon.
Pueblo County Commissioner Sal Pace says,
“Every kid deserves an opportunity to succeed. College debt has surpassed even credit card debt in America. Middle class families find it hard to send their kids to college, a basic cornerstone of the American Dream.”
Students can expect to receive about $1000 in college expenses. By the year 2020, the legal weed business can generate $20 billion annually. Thats crazy. Many other legal weed states are putting their tax money to good use.
