Oh man…Chance has been making major noise in the industry with his “Coloring Book” mixtape. He just made chart history by having his project become the first project ever to chart on the Billboard album charts off of just streams. It’s likely he’s going to crack the top 10 as well. Folks are putting him in the grammy nomination talk now!
He’s expected to come in at number 5 with 40-50k copies sold, but we’ll see. Although he vowed to never sell his music, the deal he struck with Apple was for the tech giant to have it’s exclusivity and for them to stream his work. It’s been a great week for hip-hop!
