Her courage is on another level. She seems to give in at first but then decides to open her car door and fight the man who was about to drive away. Her explanation for her courage:
“What made me not fear him was when I looked into his eyes and I could tell that he was afraid himself.”

She seems to be well rooted in religion, as she says God was looking after her that night. And her message to the carjackers sounds like a page pulled out of the WWJD book…
“If you need help, come find me. I would love to help you even after the fact that you’ve done that to me. I don’t care. I will still help you.”
