Did we watch Tim Duncan play in his final game last night? If we did we should all consider ourselves lucky we got to witness such a humble superstar at the peak of his game for years, while he solidified his position as the best power forward ever. Duncan really has nothing left to prove to anyone, having already won five NBA championships but sometimes it’s hard to walk away from the game and at least on the surface he appears he isn’t sure what he is going to do yet.

After the loss to the Thunder, a dejected Duncan handled the media with class and grace, as he spoke on the game itself but also answered questions in regards to possible retirement. He was smooth enough to dodge the questions without giving specific answers because I am sure he was prepared to hear about that constantly.
Personally I believe he is done and should retire. There is no need to hang on and not be the same player everyone remembers you for but it’s much easier for me to say it, than for him to actually do it.
