A man who says he is Afrika Bambaataa’s ex-security guard got a chance to speak on the sexual abuse allegations flying around. Shamsideen Shariyf Ali Bey says he is a member of the Black Spade, and the former head of Shaka Zulu Security.
Bey says,
“Bambaataa goes around fronting, like he’s this holier than thou. He’s a fucking pedophile.”
He went on to speak about the many young boys that use to go in and out of Bambaataa’s home. He said some would even go on tour with him. Apparently the boys who were not with the assaults would not get a chance to go on tour.
Bey said,
“There’s always a boy in his house. When he leaves and gets home, there’s always a boy there. I’ve seen them camped, asking him for money. He travels with late teens, those are the ones he takes overseas with him. When I went with him on tour in the states, I’d stay in one room, and he would have boys in the room with him.
Bey went on to say,
“Since the 70s, it’s been hundreds…I can say I’ve walked in on stuff where I say, what the fuck is going on?”
