Kelly Rowland was interviewed recently by WGN-TV Chicago, where she was scheduled to talk about many things… none of which has to deal with Beyonce. Before judging her though, it is important to consider that Rowland has probably been asked Beyonce questions her whole career. And probably had to deal with many disrespectful reporters, such as this awkward moment Michelle had quite a while back…
What probably got Kelly so worked up is that the video they used at the beginning to introduce her was her featured performance at Beyonce’s Superbowl set THREE YEARS AGO. If your interview is solely with Rowland why have a video of Beyonce’s set and then show more footage of Beyonce performing than Kelly?
She looked like she didn’t want to be interviewed from the jump. Her tone was low and she answered as short as possible. Then she was asked about “Lemonade” and the internet caught wildfire from this shortly after.
