Some people are going to try and slander Melo for this but you have to realize what he is saying. During an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show earlier this week, Melo talked about how a player should always be confident in himself after Patrick mentioned that Curry said he was better than Lebron a while ago. That led to a follow up question from Patrick, where Melo showed his own confidence.

Melo isn’t being disrespectful or delusional, he is just believing in himself. “I always have that mindset. When it comes to being on that court I don’t think anybody is better. That’s my mindset,” Melo explained.
For the record, he probably is a better pure scorer than Lebron but as far as Steph goes, I don’t think anyone can touch him right now when it comes to pure buckets. Maybe Kevin Durant but even that is a stretch at the moment.
