An 8 year old decided to let the President know how her and several other Flint residents are coping after the city’s water crisis became public. Nicknamed ‘Little Miss Flint’, she had a message for the President and received an even better reponse.
Earlier this week, President Obama responded to ‘Little Miss Flint’ saying:
“I want to make sure people like you and your family are receiving the help you need and deserve. Like you, I’ll use my voice to call for change and help lift up your community.”
The President announced he’ll be in Michigan May 4th, and made sure Mari was the first to know.
