Kesha’s mom previously spoke out on Dr. Luke saying her daughter Kesha was a “prisoner” while working with him. Now after months of mental torture amongst her, her daughter and their family, they decide to drop the counter lawsuit against the producer.
Kesha’s mother, Rosemary “Pebe” Sebert, initially accused Dr. Luke of intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress and also believed that Dr. Luke was lying about his involvement in Kesha’s career, specifically as a songwriter, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sebert voluntarily dropped her claims against Dr. Luke on Tuesday, and split with her lawyer Mark Geragos:
“The litigation with Dr. Luke has been a nightmare for Mrs. Sebert and her family,” said Pebe’s attorney Alex Little. “She has decided to move on and find peace and forgiveness in her heart rather than dwelling in the cancerous past of an ongoing lawsuit with no end in sight.”
This account would be a nightmare for any family to go through, let alone just Kesha and what happened. Prayers for this family.
