Adrien Broner says he received a lot of love while he was in jail. Not only did he get letters from pen pals, he also says fans sent him money while he did his 10-day stint in an Ohio jail.
Broner wouldn’t say how much he received but he did say he gave the money away to the other prisoners.
Broner was in jail for a probation violation.
When he and his crew left Playhouse nightclub in L.A. Sunday night, he joked about the bowling alley beatdown case that’s currently pending against him.
When TMZ asked about “pen pals”, Broner answered a question about “pin pals” saying, “My last PIN PAL pressed charges on me.
Broner’s been accused of beating up and robbing a former bowling buddy after a night of high stakes gambling on the lanes. Broner has denied the allegations.
