A Milwaukee teachers aide is in some serious trouble after being caught on video slamming a student to the ground Wednesday. The 14-year-old student and teacher’s aide had been arguing before the physical altercation took place students told school officials.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident that took place on Wednesday morning between a teacher’s aide and a student in a Milwaukee high school. The teacher’s aide and student got into a physical altercation and it was recorded by one of the students in the classroom.

The video does not show what happened before the teacher’s aide and student got physical but students who witnessed the incident have stated the the aide and student had been arguing and the student was being disrespectful.

The teacher’s aide was arrested for physical abuse to a child and the student was taken to the hospital for minor injuries according to police. In a statement, school officials called the incident “deeply disturbing” and said the aide “faces disciplinary action, including termination.
