Kanye West is known as an individual who expresses what he feels, when he feels like it and how he feels like it. Some people describe his actions as part of his creative and ‘woke’ mindset, while others describe it as an outlandish personality. Well, Kanye goes on to explain exactly where his mind was at when creating his recent album “The Life Of Pablo”.
Since the first time Kanye West released the name change of his recent album from “Waves to The Life Of Pablo”, America developed a curiosity to know… why the change, and which Pablo was he referring to?!
Our questions have been answered.
He goes onto sharing where this name derived from on Khloe Kardashian’s ‘Kocktails With Khloe’ talk show. Kanye states,
“Which Pablo? Pablo Picasso, Pablo Escobar of course, Apostle Paul. [Paul] was the strongest influencer of Christianity, Pablo Escobar was the biggest mover of product, and Pablo Picasso was the biggest mover of art. And that mix between message, art, and product is The Life Of Pablo,” stated Kanye.
“The Life Of Pablo” has become the most talked about album of 2016 with a comparison of sounds from ‘old kanye’ to ‘current kanye’.
Initially, Kanye insisted that the album would not be available for sale and solely for streaming on Tidal. Shortly after a month, the LP became available on all other platforms.
