Eight family members were found in an Ohio home slain, each shot in the head execution style. The police have reported that most of them appear to have been shot while asleep. Suspect or suspects are still believed to be on the loose. More after the jump.

The Pike Town slayings have still yet to have any suspects. The police are actively seeking leads but Pike County sheriff Charles Reader confirmed in a press conference that he does not have any shooter in custody. He stated
“I cannot confirm that there is no one on the loose who is not involved with this. If he is, he’s armed and dangerous.”
The victims of the slayings were spread out throughout four different crime scenes. All together seven adults as well as a sixteen year old teen were found slain. 3 children survived the attacks. One of the slain victims was a mother who lay sleeping with her four day old newborn baby beside her. This baby as well as a six month old baby, and a 3 year old child were survivors of the attack. RIP to all deceased. This is truly saddening.
