Digital content is the real money maker these days, so when MTV decided to bring back their popular 90s/00s TV show MTV Cribs, it only made sense to head to Snapchat.
MTV has its own channel on the popular social network, as MTV’s parent company, Viacom, struck a multi-million dollar deal with them not too long ago to sell advertising in the U.S. Fans will be able to go inside their favorite celebs’ homes with just the click of a screen starting this June, with Mac Miller, Austin Mahone and Travis Mills tapped as the first celebrity guests.

It’s crazy to think that a full TV show will now be revived on a social network that features videos in 10-second clips, but it’s honestly genius. It’s SO much more interactive for the fans and so much more personal, as the cameras will now be in the hands of the celebs themselves. It’s also a lot less work on the editing side, and more fun with the emojis and drawings they’ll be able to add. I can’t wait to see how this turns out!
