Earlier today we announced that Michael Strahan is leaving his show with Kelly Ripa to join ‘Good Morning America’ as a full-time co-host. Sources say that Kelly Ripa was”stunned and upset” upon hearing the news. Michael sat down with not only Kelly, but Executive Producer Michael Gelman at 10:30 AM, and shared that he would be leaving.
Sources say that the show will go on and there will probably be no replacement in Michael’s place. Michael claims that the move was top secret on Disney’s part by CEO Bob Iger. Kind of feel bad for Kelly as it seems her partners alway leave her in the dust. Remember Regis did the same exact thing. Hopefully these two can maintain a friendship even though they will be going separate ways.
