Though Floyd Mayweather is retired, boxers continue to call him out, hoping to get a fight with the undefeated champion. There’s been discussions about a possible Mayweather vs. Pacquiao rematch but like many others, Gennady Golovkin says nobody wants to see that. GGG says Floyd should fight him instead.
Gennady appeared on the “TMZ Sports” TV show and told them he’s still very confident he’d knock Floyd out if Mayweather ever mustered up the courage to face him in the ring.
Gennady will fight against the undefeated Dominic Wade this weekend but everyone is still buzzing about the possibility of him fighting Canelo Alvarez after.
GGG has been anxious to fight to Alvarez but says if he had to choose between Floyd and Canelo, he’d choose Mayweather.
