Sedric Clayton will be spending the next 30 years in prison for shooting and killing his mother. Clayton was surrounded by his mothers family before the three decade sentence was announced in the court room last week.

Robert Walker, Washington’s cousin, stood beside Clayton side and spoke on behalf of the family. But this wasn’t Walker’s first visit to a courtroom in Elmore County’s courthouse. He was at Anita’s side in 2009 at the sentencing of her ex-husband. He was sent to prison for 20 years for shooting her in the head as she picked up her children up at school.
