Things got a little heated when Democratic candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton went at it in the Democratic Debate in Brooklyn this past Thursday. That debate caught the attention of SNL, of course, and they decided to make yet another parody of the Democratic debate.

Who could forget the Larry David impersonation of Bernie Sanders or even Kate Mckinnon’s impersonation of Hillary Clinton last year as Hillary played a bartender. Both were hilarious in their own right but when they were combined, the product was gold.
Some were critical of this parody though, which explains the extensive dislike bar. Especially Bernie supporters who claimed SNL was being too biased in Hillary’s favor. Some others didn’t think it was funny at all. Either way, it still had some pretty funny jokes.
Favorite moments:
We now have a question about black issues. So for that, we turn to our black moderator Errol Louis. *Smooth soul music plays* Oh, yeah candidates it’s time for the black question. *”The Black Question” shows up in 70’s font*
Hillary:
“The black community loves me and I love them. In, fact I have two black people on my phone. President Barrack Obama and my husband Bill Clinton.”
Bernie’s plan to “break up the banks”:
“Once I’m elected president, I’ll have a nice shvitz in the White House gym. Then I’ll go to the big banks, I’ll sit them down, and yaddi yaddi yaddda they’ll be broken up.”
