This is a gross and strange request but apparently a necessary one. Derrick Rose and his lawyers demanded a bunch of things from the woman accusing him and two friends of rape. They asked for her to provide the court with copies of text messages and emails and other things you might expect. What you don’t expect to hear as a demand is that the woman also turn in any used condoms she kept from that night the alleged rape happened.

In case you need a reminder, the woman accused Rose and two other men of forcing their way into her apartment and raping her back in the summer of 2013. Rose has always maintained his innocence and said she wanted them to come over and it was consensual group sex.
Here we are a few years later and nothing has really came of the case of as yet but Rose’s lawyers wanted to make sure the woman turned in everything she has related to it, including those used condoms. There is no word on why Rose thinks she even has them to begin with but I’m sure they are asking for a reason.
The woman’s lawsuit for $20 million dollars is still ongoing. There are probably many people out there who can’t even fathom seeing Rose kicking down any doors with anger considering his personality but there have been many times before that assumptions about what an athlete may or may not have done have been wrong.
