Fresh off their national championship, players from Villanova took the time to celebrate their big win with one of their smallest fans. Some players from the team surprised four year old, Blaise Davis, who is fighting a rare form of cancer but is still always strong enough to cheer on the team.

Both of Blaise’s parents are Nova alums, so him being a fan is already in his blood. When players like Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu heard about the little guys fight, they came up with a plan to surprise him.
Blaise is fighting a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. His story made national news after a GoFundMe page was set up to help his family pay for medical costs.
At least for one day, none of that mattered.
Blaise and his mom, Annie, even went on TMZ to talk about the surprise and what it meant to the family. Cool stuff.
