Two Chicago police officers have been placed on desk duty after authorities released dashcam footage showing one of the officers standing on 24-year-old Heriberto Godinez neck. Godinez died following the arrest last July. Godinez was arrested on suspicion of burglary near a garage near by.

Dashcam footage has been released of Heriberto Godinez getting his neck stepped on during an arrest by Chicago police. Chicago Police Superintendent, Eddie Johnson apologized to the family of Godinez and are saying that the two officers have been taken off the street pending the outcome of the investigation.
