Rosario Dawson is well known for her memorable roles in movies such as ‘Rent’, ‘Seven Pounds’ and ‘Sin City’. But today her role was protesting in DC, which ultimately led to the actress’s arrest.
Rosario have been protesting alongside others in DC, at a rally called Democracy Spring. According to Democracy Spring, the rally’s purpose is to shed light on
“passing legislation that will limit undisclosed and big-donor money in politics.”
Rosario isn’t the only protester that was placed in cuffs, her along with several others were arrested as well. The rally has been in effect since April 11th and over 400 protesters have participated. Apparently, this isn’t the first time Rosario was arrested for protesting. She also was arrested in 2004, at an anti-Bush rally.
