The world isn’t any stranger to earthquakes, but this one is devastating. This one hits Japan, twice.
Dashiki, Japan got hit with an earthquake earlier this morning along with another earthquake a few hours after. With a magnitude of 6.2 on the scale followed up by another one at approximately 1:25pm. This one the worse of the two was reported at 7.0 on the scale in Kumamoto, Japan.
Nine individuals lost their lives in this earthquake, 800 were injured, 50 of those 800 were severely injured. The prefecture reported that 44,449 people were evacuated. The Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe has said he will activate 3,000 members of Japans self defense fore, fireman and police to help. He also said that he will activate more if necessary.
