Yeah, you read that right. In the age where the Kardashian’s are practically in the news 24/7, many try their best to downplay them. George Lopez, on that other hand, feels a bit different, as he playfully states he wants to join the popular family.

George Lopez was recently interviewed by Entertainment Weekly for the TV Land Icon Awards Show that he hosted, which airs this Sunday at 9pm. During his interview he talked about the joy it brought him when he watched actors of the past being honored today. Some of these legends made it easy for him to “connect your childhood to the present”.

One of those people is fellow peer and awardee John Stamos. Lopez jokingly said he bought a truck-load of Greek yogurt after recently taking a glance at Stamos and he also wants to remind us that they are competing for “best hair” on Instagram. But when asked what family would he like to live with, his answer was not something we would normally expect. Better yet, it’s something we would’ve never thought we’d hear him say.

“I would say I want to be a Kardashian. I want to wear clothes that are inappropriate. I want to have a lot of things done to my face. And I want to wear big sunglasses.”
