Last night was a super historic and unforgettable night in the NBA. In addition to the Golden State Warriors breaking the 96′ Chicago Bulls record (and more) by finishing at 73-9 for the season, the Warriors star, Stephen Curry hit an individual accomplishment that’s going to last for quite some time (well unless he breaks it himself next year).
I think the debates can cease and we can officially call Stephen Curry the greatest shooter ever in the game.
Last season he set the three-pointers record at 285 made. Last night during the final game, he eclipsed that and set a new record, finishing with 402 made three-pointers in one season.
A graphic was made of the list of players with the most 3-pt field goals in a season and Curry appears on it FOUR times out of SEVEN players.
Steph also joined the elite 50/40/90 club and is the scoring champion for this season by averaging 30 ppg.
