Kendrick Lamar is being sued by Mattie Music Group, which is the comaoy that owns Bill Withers 1975 song “Don’t You Want To Stay.” The company is claiming that Lamar rapped over their song without their permission. The song that they are referring to is Lamar’s song, “I Do.”
The group wants Lamar to stop using the song all together. Top Dawg has not yet addressed the lawsuit.
