Kobe Bryant retires officially after the Lakers game with the Jazz ends on April 13th and we are getting to the point where it couldn’t come sooner. Kobe, the ultimate perfectionist had no choice but to laugh at himself after blowing a layup that he would have cursed someone else out for if they missed it.

You can see Kobe still laughing about it later in the game here. Ironically besides that missed layup, Kobe went off in the first quarter for 14 points in what was basically his best quarter of the season.

It’s cool he can laugh at himself now because a few years back he would not have been laughing. Then again, a few years back he wouldn’t have missed the layup to begin with.
